Sample Room is a website that offers product samples (skin care, hair care, makeup, fragrances…things like that) for free. You only need to pay for shipping. This is an innovative idea here in the Philippines primarily because unlike in other countries, stores don’t offer free samples. Some stores do give away samples, but that’s only after you buy full sizes of their products. You can imagine the excitement when news about Sample Room came out a few months ago!
Now, this is the first time I availed of some samples from the site. They’re not even samples, actually—they’re full-sized! Wow! And I only paid P100 for all these.
From left to right:
1. Nivea Cooling Volcanic Mud Foam (50 g). Perfect for oily and acne-prone skin like mine.
2. Celeteque Anti-Wrinkle Ultra-Hydrating Cleansing Oil (100 mL). I want to see if commercial cleansing oils remove makeup better than virgin coconut oil.
3. Celeteque Back Acne Spray (30 mL). I’m actually using this on my face! Let’s see if it works.
4. Celeteque Make-Up Remover Cleansing Facial Wipes. Got this as a bonus, probably, cause I didn’t order it and it wasn’t in the invoice. I’ll try this on the tough-to-remove Revlon Colorstay foundation.
