Rosanne Collection is a new line of cosmetics from San San. As of the time of this writing, the line consists of three shades of lipsticks, blush, and nail polish. All three shades are varying shades of pink. I got Berry Bloom because it was such a vibrant, happy shade of pink. The Berry Bloom blush and nail polish are of the same color, but unfortunately, I had already bought a pink blush that time and I don’t wear nail polish anymore so I didn’t get them. Too bad, the blush only costs ₱75 and the packaging is adorable!

Anyway, let’s talk about the lipstick. It comes in a cute light pink box with the shade name printed on a golden strip. The lipstick itself is housed in a clear pink hard plastic casing with the shade name printed on a golden sticker at the bottom. The product fully retracts into the tube. I like the casing; it’s quite unusual.

This is what one swipe of Berry Bloom looks like:

2Look at that! Isn’t it beautiful? I was actually surprised when I first put it on my lips. It’s such a bright neon look-at-me pink! That being said, it’s not really suitable for daytime. Well, the good thing about pigmented lipsticks such as this is that there’s more than one way to wear them; in this case, I simply put on a lot of lip balm beforehand, apply just a few swipes of this lipstick, and then blend everything. The neon pink is toned down into a bright but very much daytime-appropriate pink.

For those who are sensitive to perfumed makeup, I must mention that this has a fruity scent that I can’t quite place (guava? grapefruit?), but it does go away after a while so it’s not really that bothersome.

Staying power is average; it can last maybe 3-4 hours without retouching and most of it will disappear after eating.

I love the pigmented, creamy formula of this lipstick! I hope they consider selling more shades in the future because I don’t like the other two–they’re cool pinks. You can’t beat the ₱98 price tag of this one!
