Prostyle Fuwarie Straight Styling Mist is a heat protectant in spray form that’s supposed to keep your hair straight. There are three variants of this heat protectant, but I’m not sure if they’re really that different from each other.
Besides the cute packaging, what I like about this is that the nozzle can be locked securely, so you can actually put this in your bag without worries. Just slide the white knob towards the “open” sign if you want to use it, then slide it back to the left to lock the bottle.
This is best used on freshly washed (but dry) hair. Instead of spraying my entire head of hair, I spray each section before ironing. That way, I’m sure that every strand is protected from heat. The product is slightly sticky when wet, but hair feels light after ironing.
There’s no noticeable difference between the effects of Prostyle Fuwarie and an ordinary cream-style heat protectant. My hair is already straight because of rebonding, so of course it will stay straight all day unless a significant amount of moisture touches the roots, in which case they will turn wavy.
Prostyle Fuwarie doesn’t tame down baby hair or impart shine, unfortunately. You’ll still need a hair serum for these things.
So…will I repurchase? No. It’s expensive for a small bottle. Tresemmé’s Instant Heat Tamer Spray has more product at 236mL and it’s being sold here in the Philippines for around the same price as Prostyle Fuwarie, so maybe I’ll get that instead.
